HEY, BOO!
Lake Norman’s 2026 Trunk or Treat Guide
All the treats. None of the guesswork.
By Lauren Rocco, eXp Realty
Updated October 2026
There are trunk or treat events across Lake Norman nearly every night from Friday, October 23 through Saturday, October 31, 2026, and this guide collects the real ones town by town so you can plan your route. Cornelius, Huntersville, and Mooresville have the deepest published calendars, while Denver, Troutman, Statesville, and Catawba host smaller, cozier events. Every listing below carries the date, time, location, and source we could confirm, with an honest heads-up wherever details are still gathering.
Consider this your welcome to the best week on the Lake Norman calendar. I have watched this area turn parking lots into candy wonderlands for over 22 years, and the trunk or treat scene is one of the reasons I love this community: neighbors opening trunks, kids who changed costumes three times before dinner, and church, business, and town calendars all working together. Please double check with any host before you go, because community events change fast, and I want your night to be full of candy, not confusion.
Confirm before you go. Small church and business trunk or treats get announced late and reshuffled every year, and some of these listings come from community event calendars the host may not update. If a card says details are unconfirmed, call or message the host first. This guide was published October 22, 2026, and will be updated as hosts publish changes.
A Note From Lauren
There is something about this time of year that fills my heart right up. I love watching the Lake Norman community come together for the little things that make childhood special, from decorated trunks on a church lawn to little ones racing from trunk to trunk in costumes they picked out weeks ago.
Whether you are brand new to the lake or you have called it home for years, I hope this guide helps you find a little fun and make sweet memories with the people you love. That is the Lake Norman I know best: neighbors showing up for each other, every single time.
Happy Halloween, y’all!
Lauren
